This menu shows the global variables being used within the application, the global variable is an external parameter required to application execution. The application can include global variables in the WHERE clause, in the definitions and field names, programming events, etc.

Global variables are defined in square brackets ([variable]). These variables should be passed to the application that is being implemented through one of the methods (Session, Post, Get).

Select customerid, customername from customers
where customerid ='[ID]'

In this case, the variable "ID" will be displayed in the "Variables Settings".
