  • scriptcase project uploaded on hostgator: weird functionality of grid-search form

    Hi,

I deployed my project on hostgator. I have grid form which shows product details with search option. So user can search product by typing its name.
I have 1 treemenu. when I clicked on the menu it redirects to the grid with start by search enabled, empty search set as yes.

    problem:
This form displayed 3 times, which should not display more than 1 i.e. should displayed only once and then under that search form, grid should displayed.

is it hostgator and scriptcase-v6 integration has problem???

I just checked out PHP version on Host Gator. I deployed same instance on my development environment and it has no problem. My development environment is using PHP 5.4.3 version whereas Host Gator runs PHP on 5.2.17 version. Can this be an issue?

      Hello,

      Yes, that could be it.

Try to deploy under you development environment, and see if the issue happens.

I installed PHP 5.2 on my development environment and tried installing it, but did not find the issue. So it is not because of PHP version what else can be the issue?

Could this possibly be an issue with Java not being able to meet the minimum requirement?

            Java?

If in your dev machine works, and host not, and just PHP version differs....I bet problem is PHP version. You have to use on deploy machines PHP 5.4 or PHP5.5 max. You installed php 5.2 in your dev enviroment, but are you sure tests are you doing in dev are using php 5.2? Can you paste phpinfo()? Dev and Deployment
