    Hello,

look at this example pdf report:

    pdfreport_1.pngpdfreport_2.pngpdfreport_3.jpg

What's wrong in my pdf report or it's a bug in SC?

    Hello Reinhard,

I have faced the same issue and it was due to my (mis)configurations on the report. Could you post a screenshot of the "main" configurations page?

    regards,

      Hello Bernhard,

what do you mean with "main" configuration page? PDF Report / Settings or PDF Report / Layout PDF / Interface or ?

A second problem: text in multiple lines, width for this cell is not observed ...

I looked at the generated code, but can not say that was implemented correctly with fpdf. Here is an example so that it works well ...

                  Hi Bernhard,

my settings are identical (format A4, not letter).

The report was about to sc 7.0.010 still completely ok, now with 7.0.015 but no more (report has not changed, only recompiled).

I have now re-created a similar report, but with "records per line." The report is now ok, but it is quite expensive to have to examine all reports after each release of new sc. Since it would be better to integrate JasperReports, then there are better options for the report design.

                  Thread marked as solved ...
                  Best regards: - Reinhard -

My main issue with Jasper is that it's Java. I am fond that SC7 is not depending on the RJE any more. If I want a java app, I will build it in Java. But on php I hate mixing environments.

                      Hi Albert,

I see it quite similar but not as strict because, first, there are more opportunities and secondly your development always takes place on a pc. In this respect hardly expense for jasperreports but some gimmicks like eg easy update of reports.

                        Hi Reinhard,
Yes I develop on a pc. But when I deploy I still have the dependency? Or am I missing the point? I didn't mind that SC was using the runtime in development, just didn't want to use it in production.
