  • HTML Header and Footer Wrapper

    I've seen this question posted before, but have not seen an answer that fits my needs.

    Is it possible to add html wrapper content around my script case application?

    I've tried setting header col 1 to value and inserting html code but that does not work.

    What I need to do is place custom html code right after the <body> tag of the application and right before the </body> tag. Can this be done and if so how?

    I do not want to use iframe or integrate with Joomla. I see others are using those methods and it is not what I would like to do.

    I suspect this could be done with a PHP wrapper of some sort that pulls in the app content with CURL. Your thoughts?

    Thank you.
    Latest version of Scriptcase updated regularly. Hosted on my own Cpanel server running php 5.4x and Centos. Use latest version of Firefox for development browser.

    Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it may get you started depending on your requirements.

    Create a PHP Method (under programming) and define your code, example:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "">
      <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
      <link rel="stylesheet" href="../main.css" media="screen">
      <link rel="stylesheet" href="../colors.css" media="screen">
    <div id="container">
      <div id="content">
    <div id="index">
    <img src="../tpg.jpg" width="505" height="105" align="left" style="padding-bottom:5px;">
    <h1>My Program</h1>
    <br />
     <div style="clear:both"></div>
     <div id="footer">Copyright 2010 <strong>My Software</strong>. All rights reserved</div>
    In the form, call the function in an event:

    php_layout(); // name of function you created in Programming / methods PHP

    Anything else, you will have create yourself in the generated code.

        Re: HTML Header and Footer Wrapper

        It could be for several reasons ..

        -I would try calling the method in an earlier event (OnApplicationInit,onScriptInit) and see if that helps.
        -You could change the html/css to assign the image to the background.
        -You could create another DIV and assign the image to the location that you want.

        Use firebug (HTML tab) to find out the layout of the page. You can use the element inspector to locate all elements of the app (image, form ... etc)

        You will have to experiment with the layout until you get the look you want. You are overriding the default of the generated form.
