this is 4th day I'm trying to get SC updates and still getting the same error message.

Can anybody confirm if their server is working ? Can anybody else download updates ?
Please confirm and put the date here so we know if the problem is related to specific PC or rather NetMake server

I get the same error and have done so for some weeks now (ever since I bought the SC7 licence).

...and why tell me to "Verify your Internet connection"? I can assure the experts at SC there is nothing wrong with my Internet connection.

        Very disappointing....

This problem has occured before and we where not able to update. The issue was solved afaik. I've tested it this morning and it worked for me, but never the less, I'll post this to the official channel, let's hope they solve it again.

CAN SOMEBODY FROM NET MAKE help here please ?
I tried Customer Support but have gotten a response that I do not understand

            HTML Code:
            Hello Sir,
Have to allow the proxy trought for the ip 54.225.241.189 (webservice.scriptcase.com.br). Your SERVER is not corresponding to ours, so it cannot make the connection trought scriptcase.
To do so, just put this ip on the proxy and allow it.

I just installed SC7.1 on another computer. This other PC is almost brand new (no other software installed, just Windows7 and SC). The same error shows up!

Updates still down. Internet and firewall verified. Same conditions used in previous updates done. Other users reporting the same problem.

<sigh> - me too - "upgraded" weeks ago to SC7 and have not been able to successfully update once. Not good enough, SC!

This sounds like a possible lan issue judging fromthe 192.168..... addresses. Put your server temporarily in the router as having full port forwarding and access. In most routers you can designate one machine to be the default machine that accepts all incoming connnections that are not forwarded by rules.

I can't tell what causing it, but fwiw, I updated this morning without any problem.
