I investigated possible solutions for the failing upload problem and stumbled upon a package which is GPL'd but has a very payable OEM licence. It's using JQuery(UI) and afaik it wouldn't be too difficult to implement this in scriptcase. I know there are a lot of different options, but I think this will suit fine. It will require to popup an uploadform on the field, something I wouldn't mind. We will try to get a working SC sample with this code in next period.
