  • Database Connection information stored in session data ????!!!

Why is the database information stored in our cookie/session data ??

I changed the db password and get connection errors on the webpage.

I clear out MY cookies/cache and then it works.

This is not a very good idea to have this information stored at the browser side, regardless of encryption

I changed the password to the database and the website responds with unable to connect to mysql.

I delete the cookies/cache and then the website works.

      Something not right here.

Make a test: disable cookies and run the website again. Problems?

Afaik there's a setting in SC somewhere to tell if sessions needs to be maintained by cookie or database. Might make a difference.
