  • Running Post install step. Installation may not complete correctly - repost

    This post is a re-post of the original as posted in the version 6 forums:

    Warning: Running Post install step. Installation may not complete correctly

    I am installing Script case version 7 using the Linux script case installer on a brand new centos 6.3 64 bit server.

    The only software on this server is going to be scriptcase.

    Most of the installation proceeded without problems but a warning came up at the post-install stage warning of an error in the script.

    ===============
    Warning: Running Post install step. Installation may not complete correctly.

    Error running components/apache/sc_apache start:

    httpd: syntax error on line 163 of /opt/netmake/v7/components/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
    cannot load modules/libphp5.so into server: libpq.so.5: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.

      Good for you Jason. I could do as you suggested or I could use the zip version to install scriptcase 7 manually.

      I used the installer version of the scriptcase program. It is supposed to be fully self contained and does not require any other external dependencies.

      As the error points out, the installer is not properly packaged and not fully self contained.

          I have downloaded sc onto my win8 64 bit computer with ms sql 12 64bit already installed. I have used this for about 7 similar apps to CS7 with no issues.
