  • Error in link between search and form appl

    I'm using SC v 8
I created a search app from a table, and linked to a form app by the search fields i wish to use to filter my form. The thing is after I fill the search criteria and hit the advanced search button, i get an error like :

1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1

Apparently, the SQL generated by SC is getting malformed, the SQL sentence generated is:

    (pdo-mysql): SELECT count(*) from ordenes where pagado = 'N' and (orden_id = )

clearly the "and (orden_id = ) " has no business here. The thing is when I use search app to link other forms in my project, they work just fine.

Anyone else is having a similar case?

    Regards.

    Hello,

Is it a field of your search application?

As Mike stated, it is possible that your application got corrupted somehow. Is it viable to recreate the app? Or is it a big application?

          regards,
