  • [SOLVED] updates always fail

i know i have seen this somewhere as far back as 2010.
But this is really getting to me!
Each time i try to update scriptcase either hungs, stops downloading or gives an error. I have been at this for the last two days!!
And dont tell me that crap firewall, antivirus crap..... I've come across this in previous replies. All firewalls & AVs ARE TURNED OFF.
I CANT CONTINUE TO WORK LIKE!!
Now i cant even run my apps or code even....it generates errors caused by interrupted downloads!! i dont see why we cant update the whole system via a stand-alone updates!!!

    What you can consider:
    - create a full backup of the SC8 directory (to be on the safe side)
    - export your applications
    - reinstall SC from the website
    - register the licence (if it fails then request for a reset in your control panel at SC)
    - import your applications.
