  • Bug SC8 ??

    In a form, format 'Single Row'.
    A field named ok type Checkbox.
    Ajax event onChange NEVER firing, seems to be a bug for me.

    Event onClick is ok.
    In the onClick event, I call a javascript function like this:

    if({ok}==1){
    // Javascript function parameters
    $javascript_function = 'nm_atualiza';
    $javascript_parameters = array( 'alterar');
    // Call javascript function
    sc_ajax_javascript($javascript_function, $javascript_parameters);
    }
    That works BUT, after that, navigating from records to records does'nt work anymore....

    Does someone know if it is a bug from SC or something that I'm doing the wrong way ??

    Thanks

    Sylvain

      I think that SC must be compatible with the browsers most usted. we do not know as developers wich browser will use a user. Therefore we must ensure our App works in other browser.

        Is this your response ? Use another browser ?
        It is RIDICULOUS !
        How can I tell my customers that they have to use another browser ? It is impossible !
        I have a suggestion for you, if this is a bug in SC, may be SC could work on it and solve it ? What do you think ?

        "Use another browser"..... Pfffff.....

          Ronyan --- We will use the browser we want to use and we will not be dictated to by you or by SC on the choice of browsers.

            Which browser was it? In fact jquery ui is for example not compatible with IE7 or below and several other browsers (not many tho).

              mmm, I think that Ronyan didn't have had his day or means something else. The question is in what browser and which version it is not working? SC is more-and-more moving to responsive design applications and those applications require more modern versions of webbrowsers. So actually SC should publish a formal list of supported browsers and their versions. Nobody expects SC to work in Netscape 1.0 ? If it is not working in a modern browser then it simply is a bug. If it's an (very) old version like IE8 then it depends....

                Hi all,
                it was on Firefox V 34.0.5 (think it is the latest version)
                Also tryed on
                IE 11 (11.0.14): same thing
                Chrome (Version 39.0.2171.95 m) same thing

                So it seems that the problem occurs on all browsers.

                That's why my first question was "Does someone know if it is a bug from SC or something that I'm doing the wrong way ?? "

                Thanks

                    Well I would try Chrome too and if that works I would ask all my users to use Chrome... (joke).

                    If it does work with chrome than I think it will be a SC issue.

                      Hello,

                      It has been analyzed and the correction will be released in the nexts updates.
                      It occur because of the protection which some browsers have.

                        Happy with the outcome of this posting.
                        Will have to validate it works first after the patch has been released.
