  • session time out with cs

    Hey guys, having problems with session and sc apps on my hosting.
    I have tried on the vps to set the timeout: session.gc_maxlifetime = 8*60*60 but doesnt seem to be working as i still get time outs.... any suggestions?

    mmm, difficult to say. I know that php has session time-outs which are in the php.ini, and to be honest, Im not sure what works. There has been a webinar regarding this and it's on youtube, perhaps this is helpful.

      We use:
      session.gc_divisor = 1000
      session.gc_maxlifetime = 14400

      You may want to set:
      session.cache_expire = 240 (in minutes).
      So the session stays valid for 4 hours... That should be enough... Someone can take a long coffee break and it is still valid.
