SC8.1 will not run

  • SC8.1 will not run

    I get following error:


    "Service Unavailable

    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

    The TAB message says: 505-Service Unavailable
    It seems like WEB server is not running. Tired to start manually but no success.

    FF browser link: http://127.0.0.1:8081/scriptcase/

    SC 8.0 runs fine on port 88




    Anybody has this problem or knows what might cause it ?

    No, i don't have this problem. One thing to look at is to see if the port is in use by some other process or if a firewall is rejecting the port?

      ok, I managed to figure out to fix it. Now it asks me for a new license. I tohught 8.1 runs on the same license

      any ideas ?

        On upgrading from 8.0..... to 8.1..... you need a new serial... So you have to contact sc for that.
