  • Copy project for further devolopment

I have created a succesfull project which is fully in production
In the same time I want to develop new functions, but want to keep the actual as they are when questions of the actual production are comming in.
So I think the best is to create a new project for further development and leave the actual for support.
    But how?
Oh yes I can make a new project and copy all the existing applications in the new project.
I also made a copy of the new database and give it a new name.
    First question:
In making a connection in the new environment I gave it the same name but I point to the new database.
2 Connections with the same name is the ok.

But the problem is the starting up via the login app.
The only way to go is to make a complete new security otherwise it will not work.
Is there something in the security which block for copying from one project to the other?

So making a new development of the same project is not easy.

    Who has ideas?

    Regards Bert

Export Project, not apps. On import it will ask for the name.

Take care on opening 2 projects on the same browser if has the same connection name. Session can give you a lot of headaches

Are you using ToDO list, and have todos with "strange" characters?
