  • Double Select Field not showing on mobile

Hi, i have created a simple web application which starts off by presenting the user with a control with a double select field. User selects one or more rows hit Ok and that is used as criteria for the where clause of he next form. This works perfectly on the web desktop but on the mobile (Android) the double select field just appears with one row and not the multiple rows? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Jephta

I would say that the chrome (android) application is not working as expected?

No, it's work correctly, if you click in the select list, the options of select will be displayed and you can choose your itens.
After that, you press ok, and the number in the select change.

Hi Ronyan, i tried again. the problem is that on the mobile samsung s3 android, instead of the double select to allow you to select multiple items (check boxes), it only allows you to select one item (radio boxes). But everything is rendered correctly. There is an option to switch back to the desktop web version. when you do that the check boxes appear and you can select multiple items but the Ok button disappears. The double select works proper from normal web.

Ronyan, one more thing. Double Select works properly in version 7, even on the mobile, but not on version 8

This is more related how system browser render widgets, not about SC

                    that could be the case.
but due to the huge chrome on android user base, SC should care about how its mobile interface is rendered on that specific OS\browser combination and do something about it.

A standard HTML select/combo box is rendered different depends on mobile O.S. what do you want SC to do?
What you want is SC depends on third party widget components, and this is not a good idea.

If the jQuery was updated, most of the mobile browser problems would disappear.

Latest ScriptCase distributes with jQuery 1.8.2 (released September 2012)

"Current Stable" jQuery is version 1.11.2 (released December 2014).

The intervening 16 releases have fixed many browser incompatibilities, and added support for newer browsers, HTML5, CSS3, and especially support for mobile (IOS and Android).

When will ScriptCase update to a newer version of jQuery? Don't we deserve to see a roadmap?

                          Hi all
Same problem here... in Android the double select are not really useable. When will sc update jquery?
                          Best regards
