Using Group By and Sum On this sample there will be shown groupping, totals and sumaries from the reporting capabilities. Creating a new grid 1. Create a new grid application based on the customers table. 2. Select the fields: CustomerID, CompanyName, Adress, Phone e Country. To do it click in the Select Fields item.
Creating a "group by" or a "breaking down" on the State field 3. Access the folder Group By and then click in Settings.
4. Turn on the property Enable Treeview , on the input field Record Count, type Customers.
5. Click in Select Fields menu item, Select the field StateID and then click in the Turn On button.
Creating a total on the CreditLimit field 6. Open the Totals folder and click in Select Fields .
7. Select the field CreditLimit and then click in the Sum button.
Setting up the summary page 8. On the application menu open the folder Summary and click in the Settings item.
9. Update the parameters Title e Quantity Title to States e Customers respectivelly.
