This new application type was created just for the chart creation. The graphics can now be managed separately apart of the Grid application with more settings options required for this type of application. The configuration settings will also use the drag and drop concepts with the preview option.

The Calendar application has now new visual elements, which makes it more friendly and useful. New colors can be defined for the different events, for the events that have already occurred and for those that will occur. There is a block option for the drag'n drop in scheduled events and also the option to display all events using a to-do list is available.

The Group By configuration now can be made directly by the end user on the Grid application, the developer will define which fields are going to be available for the end user TO select and create the Group By dynamically at runtime.

The end user now has the option to create his own summary based on fields defined by the developer. The end user also has the ability to create a pivot table, by dynamically selecting the fields to be displayed in the X and Y axes,and he also has the possibility to select which metric should be used if is a summation, average, maximum, minimum or even the amount of records.

The features can be used dynamically by the end user without any navigation. The new features included for filter, fields displaying, sorting and grouping, makes the Grid application better suited to mobile devices.

A new search feature was included inside the Form application, this new Search works dynamically and it can be also defined by the end user who will be able to decide the parameters and search criteria at the same screen. It means that there?s no more need to navigate no another screen for filtering the required information.

Now it is possible to import spreadsheets (.xls), ACCESS databases and CSV files to be used inside Scriptcase for new applications creation.

With the new images interface, the management of all used images will be easier and uncomplicated. It will be possible to make the control and administration according to user, project or public, organize the images into different folders and upload multiple images using a single interface.

With the new graphics themes editor in the new Chart application, colors and schemes can be combined and changeable in different ways, it will bring to the end user more pleasing layouts.

New functionality that allows a to-do list creation in the user level, thus, the routine with remote developers becomes even easier and well organized.

In order to have a better integration between the developers, in the Version 8.0 a message system was implemented. Now the Scriptcase?s developers/users will be able to communicate using Scriptcase interface by sending messages between the different users from the same development environment.

Forms and Grids have now a friendly interface for its configuration, easier to understand, which makes the development with Scriptcase even more intuitive.
