Installer for Windows
The automatic installer quickly and simply configures the entire environment necessary to use Scriptcase. In addition to the tool itself, Apache and PHP will be configured, enabling essential libraries for the tool to function.
What will be installed
Scriptcase’s automatic installer does not install any database.
- Apache Web Server v2.4.67.
- PHP 8.2.31 with extensions MBSTRING, ZIP, BCMATH and GD enabled.
- SourceGuardian 17.
- Scriptcase
The installer is available on our website in x86 and x64-bit versions. If you have not downloaded it yet, access our download page and download the installer according to your Windows architecture.

If you are using Windows 7 SP1, make sure that both the x86 and x64 libraries of the Visual C++ Redistributable packages for Visual Studio (2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2017) are installed.

Scriptcase installation
1 - Select the installation language
Select the language that will be used on the installer screens and click OK.
This step defines only the language of the installation screens. The Scriptcase interface language can be changed later on the login screen.

2 - Proceed on the welcome screen
On the Scriptcase welcome screen, click Next.

3 - Read and accept the license agreement
Read the License Agreement before proceeding. After reading it, select the option I accept the terms of the agreement and click Next.

4 - Define the installation directory
In this step, define the directory where Scriptcase will be installed. By default, the installation is performed in: C:\Program Files\NetMake\v10.

To change the installation location, enter the new directory or select a folder by clicking the button

Note: The path entered must be a specific folder for the Scriptcase installation, as the tool files and directories will be created directly inside it. Example: when entering
D:/scriptcase, the installation files will be placed inside thescriptcasefolder.
To continue, click Next.
5 - Select the additional drivers
In this step, you can enable the drivers for MSSQL, Oracle, DB2 and/or Informix connections, according to your needs. The other connections are automatically enabled by the installer.
Selecting the additional drivers is optional. If you do not want to enable them during the installation, click Next.
This step is available only in the x64 installer due to x86 architecture restrictions.

If you choose to configure any additional driver, select the desired driver and click Next.
If you are using the x86 installer or installed Scriptcase without selecting any of the additional drivers, check the documentation to manually enable Oracle, DB2 and Informix.
6 - Configure Apache
In this step, define the Apache settings used by the Scriptcase environment.

Port
Defines the port on which the Scriptcase Apache service will run. By default, Apache is configured on port 8094. We recommend keeping the default value.
Administrator email
Allows you to configure the Apache administrator email for better environment control. This information may be displayed in server error messages.

Apache domain
Defines the domain used by Apache. We recommend keeping the default value.
PHP time zone
In this option, define the time zone used by PHP. Select the time zone corresponding to your region.
You can check the list of available time zones on the PHP website.
Click Next to continue.
7 - Start the installation
After defining the settings, the installer will be ready to start the Scriptcase installation.
Click Next to confirm the start of the installation.

Wait until all components are installed and the environment is configured.

8 - Allow Apache to run
After the installation finishes, Apache will request permission to run on Windows.
Select the options Private networks and Public networks, as shown in the image below, and click Allow access.

Both options must be selected to allow Apache to run on the operating system.
9 - Complete the installation
After the process is completed, the installation completion screen will be displayed.

On this screen, you can select the desired options before clicking Finish:
- View Readme file: opens a page with initial information and useful links about Scriptcase.
- Open Scriptcase 10: opens Scriptcase in the Windows default browser.
Access Scriptcase
After installation, a shortcut to access Scriptcase will be created on your desktop.
Scriptcase must be accessed through a browser of your choice.
The tool evaluation period is 20 days. During this period, all features will be available. If you already have a license, see how to register your Scriptcase.
Compatible Browsers
Scriptcase can be accessed through the main browsers.
For better performance, security, and compatibility with the tool’s features, we recommend using a recent version of the browser.

Note: Scriptcase may also be compatible with earlier versions of the listed browsers. However, to ensure better performance, security, and compatibility with all tool features, we recommend keeping your browser up to date.
How to access
To access Scriptcase, enter the following in the browser address bar: server IP + port + Scriptcase folder name.
Example of access in a local installation
- 127.0.0.1:8094/scriptcase/
- localhost:8094/scriptcase/
Example of access when installing on a server
- 180.204.163.144:8094/scriptcase/
- mysc.domain.net/scriptcase/
On the login screen, enter the default username and password:
- User: admin
- Password: admin

Login screen options
In addition to the username and password fields, the login screen allows you to change the interface language, keep the user logged in, and recover the access password.
Interface language
By default, Scriptcase uses the language configured in the browser. On the login screen, you can change the interface language.
Keep me connected
The Keep me connected option keeps the user authenticated until logout is performed through the Scriptcase interface.
Forgot your password?
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot your password? to start the recovery process. An email will be sent to the informed user with the necessary instructions.
