Installer for macOS
The automatic installer quickly and simply configures the entire environment necessary to use Scriptcase. In addition to the tool itself, Apache and PHP will be configured, enabling essential libraries for the tool to function.
What will be installed
Scriptcase’s automatic installer does not install any database.
- Apache Web Server v2.4.67.
- PHP 8.2.31 with extensions MBSTRING, ZIP, BCMATH and GD enabled.
- SourceGuardian 17.
- Scriptcase

Before proceeding with the installation, we recommend that there are no other web environments, such as MAMP, Zend Server, etc., installed on the operating system.
Run the Scriptcase installer
Installing Scriptcase with PHP 8.2 will not conflict with an existing Scriptcase installation using PHP 8.1 or 7.3.
The installer configures a different Apache service (apachesc10) and port (8094) than the installation using PHP 8.1 or 7.3.
The Scriptcase installer is an .app file. To run the file, press and hold the control key, right-click with the mouse/touchpad, and then click Open to authenticate as administrator and install Scriptcase.
1 - Select the installation language.

Language
You can select the language that will be displayed during the installation process. This step does not select the Scriptcase interface language, only the installation language.
Click OK to continue.
2 - Click “Next” to continue.

3 - Read and accept the license agreement terms

Click Next to continue.
4 - Configure Scriptcase Apache.

Port
Defines the port used by the Scriptcase Apache service. We recommend using the value defined in this installation (8094).
PHP time zone
In this option, define the PHP TimeZone and select the TimeZone corresponding to your time zone.
Check the list of available TimeZones here.
Click Next to continue.
5 - Installation directory.
The default installation path is “/Applications/Scriptcase/v10”. It is not recommended to make any changes to this path unless necessary.

Click Next to continue.
6 - When clicking “Next”, the installation process will start.

Wait until all components are installed and the environment is configured.

7 - Complete the installation.

When clicking Finish, you will be directed to a “Readme” page with all the necessary initial information and useful links.

When clicking “Finish”, Scriptcase will open in your default browser.
Accessing Scriptcase
Scriptcase must be accessed through a browser of your choice.
The tool evaluation period is 20 days. During this period, all features will be available. If you already have a license, see how to register your Scriptcase.

Scriptcase can be accessed through the main browsers.
For better performance, security, and compatibility with the tool’s features, we recommend using a recent version of the browser.

Note: Scriptcase may also be compatible with earlier versions of the listed browsers. However, to ensure better performance, security, and compatibility with all tool features, we recommend keeping your browser up to date.
How to access
To access Scriptcase, enter the following in the browser address bar: server IP + port + Scriptcase folder name.
Example of access in a local installation
- 127.0.0.1:8094/scriptcase/
- localhost:8094/scriptcase/
Example of access when installing on a server
- 180.204.163.144:8094/scriptcase/
- mysc.domain.net/scriptcase/
On the login screen, enter the default username and password:
- User: admin
- Password: admin

Login screen options
In addition to the username and password fields, the login screen allows you to change the interface language, keep the user logged in, and recover the access password.
Interface language
By default, Scriptcase uses the language configured in the browser. On the login screen, you can change the interface language.
Keep me connected
The Keep me connected option keeps the user authenticated until logout is performed through the Scriptcase interface.
Forgot your password?
If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot your password? to start the recovery process. An email will be sent to the informed user with the necessary instructions.
